She holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and has spent the last few years using research as a tool for climate adaptation, agricultural reform, and enterprise growth. Her work with the Centre for Econometrics and Applied Research involved developing macroeconomic models, conducting field-based research, and supporting publications (currently under peer review) that explore land use, food systems, and environmental sustainability.
Kofoworola is a 2023 finalist of the 776 Foundation Fellowship, a program for bold climate leaders reimagining sustainable futures. Her project, TradeInCarbon, focuses on empowering households and small businesses to transition away from carbon-intensive energy by building a community-based carbon trading ecosystem.
