Obidiya Erioluwanimi Jesujefunmi is a Pharmacy student at the University of Lagos and the co-founder of Run-it, a hyper-local, campus-based logistics and service ecosystem. Driven by firsthand experience of the fragmented informal economy within African universities, he identified a critical gap: students suffer from 'time poverty' due to unreliable systems for errands and deliveries, while student entrepreneurs lack a structured marketplace to reach their peers. His solution, Run-it, is an all-in-one digital platform that organizes intra-campus deliveries, errands, and on-demand student services into a single, structured marketplace. By automating the 'errand-runner' model and creating a dedicated space for student-led services, Run-it saves time for consumers while providing a streamlined income engine for student providers. Through Run-it, Obidiya is not just building an app—he is digitizing and formalizing the tertiary institution economy across Sub-Saharan Africa. His vision is to turn every campus into a self-sustaining economic hub where logistics are seamless, and professional service provision becomes a viable pathway for student self-reliance, starting with the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL).
